It's not easy being in front of a camera. Trust me, I feel the same way! I always encourage meeting my client(s) so that we can break the ice a little. It doesn't even have to be in person! A video chat is a great way to meet, too.
Taking portraits isn't my only job. I will be able to gently guide you so that you do not have to wonder where to stand or what to do with your hands. With simple (and sometimes very silly) prompts, your session should be relaxed and enjoyable. Also, you'd be surprised at how many couples really fall into the poses when they start having fun together.

I get this one a lot! The turn-around time for delivery is usually anywhere from *2 weeks to one month. I will notify you via email when your photos are uploaded to your password protected online gallery. I will also notify you as soon as I can if I should get delayed for any reason.
*The same does not apply to weddings. Wedding delivery can take up to 3 months, though I've never gone that long because I get way too excited to deliver your best day ever!

I can tell you I snap well over 100 photos no matter what situation (unless we are talking about a wedding. Then it's way more than that). For a 1 hour session, you can expect anywhere between 50-80 images. Sometimes more...because I can't help myself.

Well, that all depends on what we're doing! Your safe bet is nuetral colors. You never want to blend in with the background. Neon colors? No way! (Unless you really, really want to.) Wear something you feel confident and comfortable in. Try not to over do it on the makeup and avoid spray tans if at all possible. And if you're okay with getting dirty, I'd bring an extra set of clothes jussssst in case!
